Welcome and thank you for your interest and consideration toward the mission field of Ireland. Pen and paper could not fully describe the great need in this area that several generations ago accepted the Gospel so readily. As the church in Galatia, the Truth has been coupled with and, even more, replaced by a system of works in the form of Catholicism. Currently 98% of the Irish profess this false hope. As you and I both know, hopelessness can manifest in many terrible ways. In Ireland, it has produced a generation of people who carry what is called the “disease” of depression. It is not a disease but a manifested condition of the hopelessness offered by the Catholic system of belief. The urgency is great that the Truth of the Gospel be given to these spiritually desperate souls. Many of the 300,000 people (at any given time) that suffer from depression will ultimately try to take their own life! There is a steady growing average of 10,000 suicide attempts each Irish year. This means that Satan is attempting to claim a potential Child of God once every 45 minutes throughout each year!

THE NEED IS AS URGENT AS IT IS GREAT!

Please earnestly pray about what the Lord would have you to do concerning the spiritually desperate people of Ireland.
